Over the past decade, Riya has led the design of luxury residential towers, branded hospitality suites, and high-profile retail flagships across Mumbai, Dubai, and Doha. Her interiors are known for layered materiality, a deep understanding of light, and spaces that feel both considered and alive.
She champions a collaborative studio model where junior designers are given genuine ownership, believing that great ideas can come from anywhere in the team. Her methodology has shaped EDI's reputation for delivering consistently strong design outcomes at speed and scale.
Omar Al Rashidi oversees EDI's operations and client relationships across the UAE, bringing a decade of experience navigating the complexities of high-value design projects in the Gulf. His ability to bridge client vision with studio capability has been central to EDI's growth in Dubai.
Trained in architecture at the American University of Sharjah, Omar brings a structured, detail-oriented approach to project management that ensures design integrity is maintained from concept through handover. He has led delivery on several of EDI's most ambitious residential commissions in Palm Jumeirah and Downtown Dubai.
Omar is a trusted voice for clients seeking clarity and confidence throughout the design process. His relationships with key contractors, suppliers, and authorities in the UAE make him an indispensable partner in the region.
Priya Menon leads EDI's India operations, overseeing studio delivery, client strategy, and talent development across the subcontinent. Based in Kochi, she manages a team of designers and architects working across residential, hospitality, and corporate sectors.
Priya's work is marked by a sophisticated integration of local craft traditions and contemporary spatial thinking. She has led flagship projects including premium hotel interiors in Kerala, bespoke private residences in Bengaluru, and an award-shortlisted corporate headquarters in Hyderabad.

Farrukh Tashkentov leads EDI's hospitality design practice, a specialisation he has built over fifteen years working across luxury hotel brands in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His interiors create environments where guest experience and brand identity are inseparable.
His portfolio includes lobby and F&B transformations for five-star properties affiliated with global brands as well as boutique independent hotels seeking a distinctive identity. Farrukh works closely with operators from the outset, ensuring design decisions are grounded in operational reality without compromising beauty or ambition.
He holds a master's degree in Interior Architecture from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville and has been a speaker at several international hospitality design conferences.

Ananya Krishnan is a senior designer and associate at EDI, leading design development on several of the studio's most complex residential commissions. Her work is characterised by precise detailing, a sensitivity to natural light, and a talent for translating client lifestyle into spatial narrative.
She joined EDI with experience from studios in Mumbai and Singapore, and has since led the interior design of private villas, penthouse apartments, and a boutique retail concept in Dubai Mall.
Zaid Ahmad oversees site execution and project delivery across EDI's UAE commissions, ensuring that the studio's design intent is translated faithfully into built reality. With a background in civil engineering and interior fit-out, he is EDI's link between design imagination and construction expertise.
